KRAKOW. Born, raised and stuck. STRATFORD. Discovered English. Forgot about borders. TUNIS. Boarded first plane. ISTANBUL. Missed first plane. PORTUGAL decides your life course. ENGLAND decides you can afford it. Living it up in VIANA. PARIS on 20 euros teaches you budgeting. KRAKOW. Turned back and got educated. Walking in pajamas from ZAKOPANE. Turns out winter is not that chilling if you know your direction. Lost in translation in NAPOLI. Found again in PERUGIA. Discovered the meaning of “humid” at the airport in DELHI. Lost temper on the way to HYDERABAD. Nearly lost life on the bus to TIRUPATI. Was the “Step into the brighter world” sign too inviting? Made a guidebook to ANDHRA PRADESH, proud but not paid. Misdirected to TAIWAN. Train disappears on the way to ALISHAN. The “blink challenge” lost to a spider teaches you how much time is elastic. Ditched the flight back to Europe ending up in AUSTRALIA. Immobilized in PERTH. Bone-setting chiropractor offsets your course for BALI. Sharing pain of broken backs in KUTA. Looking at the world from distance in NUSA MENJANGAN. KAWAH IJEN. Died and came back from hell. Solo around SOLO but not alone in WONOSOBO. Lost and scarred in JOGJA, it’s pointless to fight your first Asia kiss. Directionless in KUALA LUMPUR. Found a new way in KARNATAKA. Knocked on the head in BANGALORE. On the magic carpet in MANALI. No party in PUTTAPARTHI. Immortalized by Bollywood in OOTY. Sailing in Portuguese to MUMBAI on the way to YEMEN. Kicked out abruptly from INDIA. Landed on streets of BANGKOK. Made a staggering discovery, bad karma attracts only bad people… or bad situations. Reshaped the whole life in MALAYSIA. Tried the 9 to 9 office life in BANGSAR and jumped at the deep end of filmmaking. Went silent for days in SURAT THANI. Broke the silence and a quad bike in the middle of BORNEO. Raised a silkworm in SURIN. Kneeled on the sea urchin in MABUL and discovered you can eat it for dinner. Drinking tea keeps you alert in KUALA LUMPUR… LAOS, CAMBODIA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, BRUNEI ?!
And that’s only the beginning of the adventure.
